JOHNNY DePALMA

Johnny began writing down his absurdities at a very early age, and I should add, for the worst of all possible reasons…to impress a girl.

Years past and Johnny eventually began writing for himself: the bed-time stories, the fairy tales, the out-of-control day-dreams, and the rainy-day books he'd come to love. In 2006, he founded Umbrelly Books Publishing where he continues to grow his personal vision of unique children’s literature, available for all audiences.

During his time at Umbrelly Books, Johnny has released seven books, created one popular, albeit bizarre holiday, (Howl at the Moon Day), and has found his literary works among the Amazon Best Seller Ranks.

He currently lives in Campbell, CA with his girlfriend, and two children.
